Filters: q, category, kind (sfx or music), min_duration, max_duration. Maximum page size: 100.

Details & downloads

GET /api/v1/sounds/{id}

Results include download_url, waveform peaks, duration, peak_t, RMS level in dBFS, SHA-256, creator and source/licence links. RMS is not integrated LUFS. Categories and search tags derive from pack names and filenames; musical metadata is not inferred.

Download URLs are relative to this domain. Audio supports HTTP range requests. Keep a local cache and verify the SHA-256 checksum. No account credentials should be sent to this API.

Published recordings are CC0-1.0 from the credited sources. Framecast does not claim authorship. Read CC0. Source and included licence evidence are under /licenses/{pack}/source.json and /licenses/{pack}/License.txt.

Automatic cue placement, semantic search, membership controls and Framecast editor integration are pending.
